     1252573486_picture_06Sep, 15 – Sep, 19: Accepting the invitation of The Korean Prime Minister Goh Kun, the delegation of Vietnamese high-ranking cadres leaded by the Prime Minister Phan Van Khai officially visited Korea.

At the meeting, the Korean president Roh Moo Hyun declared to help Vietnam construct the college of Vietnam-Korea friendship IT being worth 10 million USD.

Dec, 2003:

The Prime Minister entrusted the role of being the investor of building the college of Vietnam-Korea friendship IT to The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.

Nov, 2004:

The chairman of Danang People Committee approved detailed planning space of the Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college

Jan, 2005:

The chairman of Danang People Committee approved the plan of constructing the public road to Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college

June, 2005:

Danang People Committee approved the plan of compensation for clearance and the plan of supporting the resettlement related to the project of Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college.

Nov, 2005:

The Minister of the Ministry of Education and Training made the decision of Agreement on Principles of setting up Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college.

Jan, 2006:

In Danang city, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and KOICA held the ground breaking ceremony of Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college.

Feb, 2006:

The Minister of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications made the decision of setting up Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college construction investment project management unit

Sep, 2006:

The Minister of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunication sent official document to the Ministry of Education and Training, asking for permission to have the decision of setting up Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college earlier.

May, 2007:

The Ministry of Education and Training made the decision of recognizing Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college a public college directly under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.

Aug, 2007:

Vietnam-Korea friendship IT college officially enrolled students for the first course (academic year 2007-2008) in the way of selecting applicants’ files. With planned figures of 720 students for 4 branches included 8 majors: Computer Programming, Database, Computer Network, Computer Graphic, Architecture Design, Marketing Information Management, E-business, Advertising and Public Relation.
